Topshop's latest sale is a little different. The retailer is auctioning off the dresses made for stars who attended the prestigious Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York back in May. The gowns worn by British model Jourdan Dunn, actress Zoe Kravitz, models Kendall Jenner, Toni Garrn and Chanel Iman were created by hand at Topshop's workshop in London. Read More »
Cara Delevingne is cutting back her modeling to focus on film. The 22-year-old told WWD she is preparing for the release of a slew of movies next year starting with "The Face of an Angel," Michael Winterbottom's take on the real-life story of Amanda Knox. Among her upcoming projects are "London Fields," starring Johnny Depp and Amber Heard; "Tulip Fever" with Christoph Waltz, and director Joe Wright's "Pan," which features Hugh Jackman and Rooney Mara. Topshop just released its holiday campaign starring Cara, which the brand teased earlier this week with a video, just one day after throwing a mind-blowingly star-studded dinner in New York. R&B superstar Beyoncé Knowles and London-based Topshop have formed a 50-50 joint venture company — Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. — to produce an athletic streetwear brand. A rumored lawsuit between Rihanna and UK clothing chain Topshop from May has come to a head. The "Stay" pop star is suing the clothing chain for £5 million. Rihanna claims that Topshop used her image without her permission and fooled fans in to thinking a tank top was official Rihanna merchandise, according to BBC News. Read More »
