When she's not busy breastfeeding her kid, or duking it out with Wendy Williams about it, actress Alyssa Milano fills her time telling people how she almost starred alongside Golden Globe winner Michael Keaton in Beetlejuice in Winona Ryder's role .
Okay, she did that once.
Anyway, Milano recently appeared on HuffPost Live and was asked if there was ever a role she rejected that she now wishes she didn't. And while she couldn't think of one she rejected, she did say that the role of Lydia Deetz in the 1989 Tim Burton film was almost hers – if it hadn't been for Winona Ryder, who finally got the part.
It turns out that the role was either going to her or Ryder, and ultimately, the producers chose the latter.
For the record, we're speaking of this part:
"I did get close on a movie that I really, really wanted to get when I was a kid that Winona Ryder actually got, which was Beetlejuice," Milano told HufPost. She further explained that she always thinks about what would have been different had she won the part instead of Ryder.
"You always wonder, 'Well, what would have happened differently in my life had that actually worked out?'"
It should be noted that Milano expressed no interest in having something changed in her life today. It appears that she's plenty happy with how her career, and life, has gone – being a publicly-known breast-feeder and all!
Plus, with a career that includes titles such as Charmed, Who's the Boss, My Name is Earl, and more, who can blame her?

In the end, Who's the Boss? Alyssa Milano. But who's Lydia in Beetlejuice? Well, Winona Ryder.
