While Kareena Kapoor Khan's upcoming film Ki & Ka is yet to be released, the actress has bagged a film with her Singham Returns co-star Ajay Devgn. Actor Vidyut Jamwal confirmed the news by saying that he will soon be filming with Khan and Devgn in Milan Luthria's Baadshaho.
The revelation was made by Jamwal during his recent conversation with DNA India about his upcoming releases. The actor, who is currently busy shooting for Commando 2, said, "My next film is with Milan Luthria. I am doing 'Baadshaho' with Ajay and Kareena."
A lot of presumptions were made regarding the female lead after actress Shruti Haasan and Lisa Haydon quit the project. It was reported by Indian Express that though it's being said that they were removed from the project, some stated that Haasan left the film project as she was unhappy with the alterations in her role.
Based on 1975 Emergency, BaadShaho is speculated to be inspired by a true incident and is a story about Rajasthan's royal family. Luthria is making the film in collaboration with Bhushan Kumar.
Conversing about the story of Baadshaho, Luthria said that the idea behind BaadShaho is loosely based on the true events that happened around the Emergency in India during 1975. The director was quoted by Catch News as:
'I am thrilled to collaborate with Bhushan and Ajay, but I don't want to reveal too much about the film at the moment, except to say that like my other films, this will also be a blend of action, humour, emotion and one liner."
The shooting of the film is likely to commence in April as Devgn is currently busy shooting for Shivaay. Baadshaho is expected to release on January 26, 2017. It might clash with Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam's film Kaabil.
On the other hand, Khan and Arjun Kapoor starrer Ki & Ka is slated to release on April 1, 2016.
