George Clooney has hinted he may quit acting soon. Despite the fact that some actors work into their golden years, the 54-year old double Oscar winner claims he doesn't want to get old on screen.  Of course that doesn't mean he's quitting show business totally as he has plans behind the camera.

While promoting his latest film Hail Caesar, Clooney told the BBC, "I think nobody really wants to see anybody really age... It's a very unforgiving thing, the cameras, and so aging becomes something that you try to do less and less on screen. You try to pick the films that work best for you and as you age, they become less and less."

Although he feels his age may soon be a factor in front of the camera, the award winning Argo producer hopes to continue putting out good work behind it.  "It is my great love, and I do enjoy it a lot. I've had some really great success and I've had some not so successful films, and that's also part of the experience."  Clooney has previously directed The Monuments Men, The Ides of March and has been Oscar nominated for directing Good Night, and Good Luck.

Although Clooney wants to leave acting, there are several others that should.  Here is a list of the top 5.

5) Ben Affleck

He's the Oscar winning screenwriter who gave us Good Will Hunting, the Oscar winning producer who gave us Argo and the Golden Globe winning director for the same film. Unfortunately, he's also the actor that gave us Reindeer Games, Jersey Girl and Gigli.  It's probably due to his film flops that there are those already questioning his upcoming performance in Batman vs. Superman.  If it doesn't work out, perhaps the 43-year-old should do what fellow Argo producer Clooney plans to do and stick behind the camera.

4) Eddie Murphy

In the '80s, he was one of the best cast members of SNL and he parlayed that into the films 48 Hrs.,Trading PlacesBeverly Hills CopComing to America and Harlem Nights. However, in the '90s, he gave us Vampire in Brooklyn and Holy Man.  Then in the 2000s, he gave us The Adventures of Pluto Nash and Daddy Day Care.  He made a brief glimpse of a comeback with his Oscar nominated performance in Dreamgirls, but unfortunately followed that up with Norbit and the 54-year-old hasn't rebounded since.

3) Adam Sandler

Like Eddie Murphy, the 49-year-old comic actor came out of SNL and instantly hit the big screen with a slew of hits including Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer.  Unfortunately like Murphy, his later efforts, including Jack and Jill, That's My Boy and the more recent and controversial The Ridiculous 6, haven't done him any favors.  Although most of his films still technically make money, his performances aren't the Sandler we know and love.

2) Ashton Kutcher

Thanks to Twitter, the 38-year-old is obviously very social media savvy and a good business man.  He also was a bearable presence back on That 70's Show.  However, making films like Killers and Jobs proved he wasn't a box office presence. Although he came back to TV with Two and a Half Men, he obviously never filled the bowling shirt left by Charlie Sheen, who later blasted Kutcher for the show's downfall. Coincidently, Kutcher actually had a small role in the aforementioned Affleck flop Reindeer Games.

1) Keanu Reeves

It's hard to use the word "act" for Reeves without using the word "over" before it.  Although his performances in blockbusters like Speed and The Matrix certainly made him a household name, he admits his phone hasn't been ringing lately.  If the 51-year-old were to leave the profession, we may miss his likeability, but certainly not his acting, or shall I say, overacting.
