The future members of the Justice League were finally introduced (albeit briefly) in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and there was little doubt that Ezra Miller's version of Barry Allen will be bringing his own brand of mischief in the planned The Flash standalone film. But will the Speedster team up with Ray Fisher's Cyborg and introduce more mother boxes in the movie?
Batman v Superman producer Deborah Snyder recently spoke to Forbes, where she explained how the future movies of the DC Extended Universe will be different from each other.
"David Ayer's Suicide Squad has such an amazing, brash tone," Snyder said, comparing the film to Gal Gadot's solo outing.
"It's fun and it's about the villains, and it's super-different than Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman, which is an origin story and tells her story," she said.
Snyder then hinted on the possibility that Barry Allen's spinoff flick will feature the young Victor Stone as well.
"As you can imagine, when we get to the Flash movie, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher -- who plays Cyborg -- are kind of our youngest characters, and they have a really nice camaraderie with each other," she said, adding that Miller's sense of humor will lend a more carefree feel in the movie.
"Ezra is super funny, so the tone of that film will be very different than the rest of them," Snyder concluded.
But if Fisher's Cyborg will be in the Flash's solo movie, does this mean we will be seeing more mother boxes? Victor's cameo in BvS already showed that his scientist father used a mother box to restore his son and a possible Cyborg appearance in The Flash could mean more of the mysterious grey boxes in the future.
The Flash solo film will be written and directed by Seth Grahame-Smith and is scheduled for release on March 23, 2018.
