'Bones' Season 11 Spoilers: Are David Boreanaz/Emily Deschanel Booth/Brennan "Tempted?"

Season 11 of Bones aired its winter finale over on Fox. Back from hiatus, will the married couple, Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), find themselves "tempted to cheat?"

In the penultimate recap, Temperance Brennan (Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (Boreanaz) were working undercover at the Frontier Games. Elsewhere, Hodgins and Angela were working out their difference on whether or not they should have children. As Brennan and Booth solved the case, Hodgins (TJ Thyne) admitted to Angela (Michaela Conlin) that he's not ready to have more children; breaking her heart.

In our finale recap, Aubrey (John Boyd) risked his life to save Hodgins as they unexpectedly found themselves near a bomb. Though the explosion sent them both to the hospital, Booth raced against the clock with Leslie (Sara Rue) to find the cop-killer. Just when Arrastoo (Pej Vahdat) begged for a second chance from Camille (Tamara Taylor), Hodgins told Angela he wanted to have more kids. Unfortunately, the couple discovered the explosion has left Hodgins paralyzed.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, co-showrunner and executive producer Michael Peterson reveals the turmoil headed down Angela and Hodgins' marriage. Peterson reveals Angela's mindset, "That's going to be the scariest part, I think. Starting off this season, we'd introduced this new photographer character Sebastian, who - it's kind of an alternate life that she was seeing here. It's like: What if she had stayed the artist? What if she had been with an artist? Where would that have gone?"

The Bones executive producer adds, "That is what has entered her world at this time when all of the sudden her husband is in a wheelchair, and he's not treating her well ... There will be temptations."

As we previously mentioned, the Fox drama has been renewed for a twelfth and final season. The final season will consist of 12 episodes, which brings the episode tally to 246.

Bones returns to Fox for the rest of Season 11 this Thursday, April 14 8pm.
