Jill Duggar Dillard on Parenting: Mother Claims Her Son Israel David Has an 'Attitude' Now

Looks like someone has a bit of an attitude, if you ask Jill Duggar Dillard! MStars News has learned that the mother has had some hiccups with parenting her toddler, Israel David Dillard.

During an interview with Us Magazine, Dillard said: "He has started developing a little more of an attitude recently to try to tell us when he doesn't like certain things. For the most part, as long as he is entertained, he stays happy."

Despite his little attitude, the 24-year-old mom said that her son "generally has a very sweet personality." She added: "He loves to be with people more than alone by himself, but if he has a clean diaper and full belly, he can entertain himself for awhile."

Dillard welcomed her baby boy back in April 2015. She tied the knot with her husband, Derick Dillard, in June 2014. Right now the family is living in El Salvador doing missionary work and helping out the country.

When it comes to being having the personality of his mother or his father, little Israel seems to have a bit of both of his parents right now.

"It's hard to tell who he will be most like as a kid, but as far as a baby, I'd say he is a lot like both of us, since from what I hear we were both pretty good babies," his mother said.

As for raising her son outside of the U.S., Duggar claimed that she was happy to be living in Central America so that he could "experience different cultures at a young age." She also "can't help but think how cute he is."

Dillard claimed that she enjoyed being a mother and watching her son grow. "I also love watching him giggle any time we tickle his belly. He has such a cute big smile with slight dimples (from Daddy!) and big baby teeth. He melts our hearts!"

Dillard's sister Jessa Duggar Seewald also has a son of her own. The 23-year-old star has been getting use to motherhood with her baby boy named Spurgeon Elliot Seewald.

She previously said that she planned on raising baby Spurgeon differently from what her own mother Michelle Duggar did.

"Spurgeon is still pretty young, but I'm sure that as he continues to grow, I will find that I tend to do some things differently than my mom did," Seewald explained. "That's the beauty of the individual family. No one is identical."
