Scandal Season 5 Episode 20 Sneak Peek: "Trump Card" Live Stream

As the drama is Scandal gets messier, it's hard to believe that the season is just episodes away from coming to a close. After last episode, this show has proven that on day you can be friends with someone and the next day they can turn into your biggest enemy. In "Trump Card" Abby (Darby Stanchfield) and Olivia (Kerry Washington) are forced to work together despite their issues to take down a common denominator.

Last episode we watched as things crumbled between Olivia and Abby. The former friends are only communicating through angry glares and silences. Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young), Susan Rose (Artemis Pebdani) and Hollis Doyle (Jeff Perry) are battling in a series of debates and for the Florida governor's influential endorsement.

While all candidates are preparing to take off to meet the Florida governor for dinner, Mellie ends up stalled. Abby manages to pull strings to delay Air Force One's departure due to "mechanical problems" and protocol which allow Mellie's plane to take off after the president's plane. Abby's plan is simple; Mellie has to miss the dinner.

Mellie decides to chop it up with President Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) on the tarmac between the planes to end it. He congratulated her on a successful campaign and lets her know that Olivia killed Andrew. While Olivia has not been the same since the kill, Fitz asks Mellie to look out for Olivia.

Governor Baker tells David privately that she'll endorse Susan id David stops an investigation into a large sugar-making company in her state. Of course with his pledge to wearing the white hat David refuses. Cyrus has a turn of events as his husband discovers that he is cheating. Cyrus confronts Michael letting him know that he is just his servant. He then threatens to throw Michael out if he keeps digging into his sidepiece Tom's identity.

Hollis ends up winning Florida's endorsement. His big win forces Abby and Olivia to meet at OPA to come to a truce. Cyrus returns home to find his husband and daughter gone. Abby and Olivia come to an agreement to take Hollis down.

In the teaser for Episode 20, Abby And Olivia are back to where they used to be, taking down the opposition. The political race has become a backstabbing contest with the candidates dropping like flies. Rowan (Joe Morton) tries to broker a deal with Abby and Hollis attempts to make a deal with Olivia. Who will come out on top? Next week we will find out.

Episode 20 of Scandal will air on Thursday at 9/8c on ABC.
