Allegations involving Josh Duggar for reportedly molesting five young girls went public for 19 months now. As he mulls to appear on his family's reality show "Counting On", TLC executives are furious and threaten to cancel the show if the Duggars insist to bring Josh on camera.
As reported by The Hollywood Gossip, Josh parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, helped hide his crimes from authorities. Throughout 2015 and 2016, several more scandals were unearthed and added the family's burden though not all of them involved Josh.
TLC reality series "Counting On" is now on its second season as Duggar family was able to find its way back onto television. But at first, the network has hesitated to give the family another chance to continue the series.
However, there are reports that Josh may be returning to the family series to state his side of the story and try to win the audience's sympathy. Upon knowing this, TLC was alarmed and made it clear that if the Duggar will persist, the execs will be forced to cancel "Counting On."
Several reports arise that TLC nearly cancelled the show due to its less-than-stellar ratings. There were severed relationships and advertisers who went angry that their commercials appeared during the controversies.
After Josh Duggar admitted himself that he sexually molested five underage girls, including four of his sisters, when he was younger, he also confessed infidelity on his wife Anna Duggar using the Ashley Madison website and sex worker Danica Dillon.
On the other hand, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" in spite its high ratings is also reportedly to be cancelled as more and more companies decided to pull out their ads from the show. These companies did not want to be associated with Josh Duggar and his family following the scandals.
