Early copies of "Final Fantasy 15" have been sold all over the world and fans have been adamant to get their hands on the copy as they scramble to play the game that is literally more than 10 years in the making. For players who are wary of spoilers, director Hajime Tabata himself warns to stay away from video streaming sites as players inevitably upload content from the game.
As the news of the leak spread, Tabata released a statement saying they are aware that leaked gameplay videos are on the internet. He further adds that it is out of their control and they had hoped for a "simultaneous global release" to let everyone play the game at the same time. He and the gaming company Square Enix are doing their best to prevent gameplay videos and spoilers of "Final Fantasy 15" from going around the internet, Kotaku notes.
Fortunately, "Final Fantasy 15" has a patch called "Crown Update" which will be released on the official launching date of November 29. This update contains more content for free download including an improved camera for better visibility, items, the ability to upload and share in-game photos, more recipes, cutscenes and minor bugs and fixes, according to Polygon.
This may mean that those who have bought early copies of the game cannot fully enjoy it as they have to contend with it without the help of the patch. There will also be new scenes added to the game to guide those who haven't seen the prequel film get a better idea of the events leading to the game.
The game is slated to be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. "Final Fantasy 15" will also be getting an additional patch next month ti add 4K support for those who will be playing the game on the PS4 Pro.
