AMD's all new Vega graphics cards are set to take the GPU realm by storm. While multiple sources have hinting at a March launch for the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, recently surfaced reports surrounding its rival Vega 10 suggest that AMD's latest graphics cards will be arriving in May 2017.
AMD Vega 10 is the star during RRA GPU certification. With its solid performance card has outscored its expected rival, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, which underwent the same regulatory evaluation. Reports state that AMD Vega 10 did very well in all aspect.
RRA is South Korea's National Radio Research Agency, which is a regulatory board that conducts tests and approves products that are produced by Silicon Valley-based companies before they are sold into the electronic market, reports Segment Next.
AMD's first Vega 10 GPU that is rumored to come bearing high-end specs will be released in several SKUs for GPU enthusiasts. Aside from the Vega 10, WCCftech notes AMD has another chip in the lineup, the Vega 11 GPU, a low-end part of the card which is likely to be made available around the same time.
AMD could make a pitch for the dual-chip Vega 10×2 based card while making launch of the Vega 10 Chip, but enthusiasts should not expect it to hit the store shelves anytime soon. The Sunnyvale-based company has a reputation of releasing its cards long after teasing it.
Contrary to recent reports suggesting that AMD might be too late in releasing an Nvidia GTX contender. However, it cannot be denied that the company has what it could take to simply outperform Nvidia's most powerful GPU for gaming -- their latest Vega 10 GPU.
AMD's lips were sealed about their upcoming GPUs for the past months and now currently the company only just now broke silence during their CES presentation. Much to the delight of enthusiasts, AMD let viewers take a gander at this GPU that runs 4K gaming, according to TheCountryCaller .
Since the RRA certification has approved the solid performance of AMD Vega 10, the production of the units will surely happen in the next months.
