With the inauguration day of President-elect Donald Trump approaching, some are wondering who will be the artists that will play in the inauguration concert, which will commence a day before the inauguration, as per the tradition. Others might suggest that this inauguration concert will be star studded and will have several "A" list celebrities on the line-up. But it is the other way around.
President-elect Donald Trump has stated before that he is not really fond of high profiled celebrities so it is to be expected that no big name acts would be seen on the inauguration concert.
The so-called "A" list celebrities are all wanting tixs to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING. I want the PEOPLE!

According to the CNN, country artists Toby Keith and Lee Greenwood is confirmed to perform in the pre-inauguration concert. They will be joined by the rock band 3 Doors Down. Other musicians who will be performing in the concert are The Piano Guys and The Frontmen of Country. The concert will be held at the Lincoln Memorial on January 19 and will have the name of "The Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration".
Perhaps, if there is more notable about Trump's inauguration, it is the number of artists who refused to play for the concert. Among the artists who turned the offer down were Elton John, Rolling Stones, Andrea Bocelli, Garth Brooks, Celine Dion, and Justin Timberlake.
Broadway star Jennifer Holliday was also announced as one of the performing artists, but she backed out because of the backlash she received from the LGBTQ community. She called her initial decision a "lapse of judgement" in an open letter to her fans.
According to the Independent, among the performers that are confirmed to be present in the pre-inauguration party are Radio City Rockettes, Jackie Evancho, The B Street Band and DJ Ravi Drums. Meanwhile, former America's Got Talent Jackie Evancho is said to have gained album sales in which Trump claims was the effect of the "movement" after the announcement that Evancho will perform at the inauguration.
