Duggars Appeal For Privacy Regarding 20th Addition To Duggar Brood

The Duggars have recently expanded their family to 20 but it seems that the family is asking for more privacy given the circumstances of the new addition. While fans remain curious about the new family member, Jim Bob and Michelle are not closing doors that they would be ready to reveal details about Tyler in the near future, but at the right time.

Fans who have been following the large brood recently noticed the addition of a young boy to family events and photos but not much has been said about him on the official Duggar channels.

According to a report by the Independent Journal Review, the child's name is Tyler and he is the son of Michelle's niece Rachel Hutchins who is currently incarcerated for breaking and entering. Eight year old Tyler was initially supposed to fall under the custody of Rachel's mom Carolyn but she suffered a stroke.

The Duggars took in Tyler in August and was granted guardianship by an Arkansas judge who saw it in Tyler's best interest to stay with the large family.

"At this time, the Duggars are choosing not to reveal the details of the situation that resulted in them receiving guardianship of Tyler," the official family blog said as the family appealed for understanding about Tyler's welfare as a minor.

Tyler seems to be blending in just fine with his cousins as a photo of him chugging down a gallon of milk was recently uploaded on the Duggar Facebook page. He's also joined the other Duggar kids for homeschool.

Meanwhile, fans are expecting to learn more about Tyler when the cameras start to roll for the third season of Counting On, THG reported.

Also expected to be highlighted with the upcoming season are Jinger's marriage to Jeremy Vuolo, Jill's second pregnancy and the courtship of Joy Anna Duggar.
