After months of speculation, rumors and concept images, we may finally get to see the first glimpse of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, courtesy of the South Korean tech giant itself. The Smartphone maker accidentally revealed the design of the Galaxy S8 via its official YouTube account.
In a series of videos promoting Samsung's latest AMOLED displays, Samsung has exposed an unexplained new smartphone with svelte bezels and no physical Home Button, which would resemble with the latest speculation around the Samsung Galaxy S8.
An elongated physical Home Button, flanked by two capacitive keys, has long-been a staple of Samsung smartphone and tablet design. But this year this could be about to change, Express reported.
Samsung patrons will have to start becoming familiar to using on-screen virtual buttons, as according to video it is also believed that the Samsung is going to ditch the capacitive buttons that will allow Samsung to shrink the bezels at the bottom of the device.
The smartphone that appears in the Samsung Display on the YouTube video does not look like any Samsung phone currently on sale. The unreleased smartphone, in the video appears to have a USB-C connector, speaker grill, and 3.5mm headphone port. It also looks much thinner than any current Samsung phone model available right now.
For the past two years, Samsung's Galaxy S-series was having crown for best smartphone, until the Note 7 battery issue emerged. Now, Samsung is said to introduce the Galaxy S8 that will bring the loyalty of Samsung patrons in the Galaxy series. Samsung is rumored to launch Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in the early 2017.
Another proof of existence of Galaxy S8 is noted by Forbes, which says that Samsung has unintentionally confirmed the existence of the new phone and it's Galaxy S8, by the name applying to the United States Patent and Trademark Office to register the new device
Till now, it has been unclear whether Samsung would use this new industrial design to shrink the footprint of its devices or squeeze a larger display into the same footprint as its current-generation devices. However, several rumors surfacing on internet claims that there the two models of Galaxy S phones, first one with a 5.7-inch display, and another with a palm-stretching 6.3inch screen. The latter it was reportedly marketed as the Galaxy S8 Plus.
