OnePlus 5: The Budget Flagship Killer Has Come Up With Cutting-Edge Specs & Features

The smartphones from OnePlus series are becoming increasingly popular among the consumers. In fact, the smartphones from the company are already competing with the other smartphone giant manufacturers such as iPhone and Samsung. Like its previous version, OnePlus 5 is expected to feature some cutting-edge specs at a really affordable price.

Smartphone from OnePlus series faring better and even giving tough competetions to the likes of Galaxy S7 and iPhone and OnePlus 5 will surely try to continue this legacy.

Interestingly, the company completely jumped from OnePlus 3 to OnePlus 5, thus skipping number four. And they have reasons. According to Chinese traditions, number four is associated with bad luck.

Hence, the company kept its distance from number four and is gearing up to launch OnePlus 5. The company hopes that the new device will be more successful than the previous products.

Now that the launch of OnePlus 5 is around the corner, speculations are rife about the new specification of the phone. Though there has been no official announcement of the new device, rumours say that just like its predecessors, this smartphone too will boast some great new features and that too at a low price.

Rumours mention that the new handset will come with new Snapdragon 835 processor. The handset will also possess Android 7.0 Nougat, along with 4,000 mAh battery. It will also have 64GB internal storage.

According to reports, the upcoming handset will also have brand new flash feature and retina flash. And those who love cameras, the handset will possess 16-megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixels at the front for those picture perfect moments. News18 reported, the smartphone might also feature waterproof design.

There are also rumours doing the rounds that the new phone will not only be water but also dust proof.  According to Android Pit, OnePlus 5 could also come with ceramic housing. 

It's also reported that the phone might have a fingerprint scanner, D-touch and also posses quick charging. Speculations are also rife that the display of OnePlus5 will be 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED. This means that the phone will support all kind of high definition videos. The phone will also allow the consumers to enjoy smooth 3D streaming videos.

The company is planning to launch the new device in the market in the summers of 2017. Though there is no official confirmation, it's reported that the price of the new device will be $420.
