Good news for Google Pixel users because the recent update fixes some of your concerns. According to reports, the February security patch addresses the audio and popping up issues of Pixel.
Google Pixel is the highest rated smartphone camera with a battery that can run all day to cater the users' passion for taking photos and videos. It is also the first phone that is equipped with a Google Assistant built in.
Yes, Google Pixel is like a dream come true. It has strong points that you can't spot on other Android devices. Unfortunately, users have been complaining about some issues concerning this device.
They noticed that Google Pixel's audio is distorted when played at high volumes. The static and popping noises are audible regardless of what app or media the users are playing. Initially, they were torn whether the concern was due to hardware or software.
9To5Google reported that the said issues have been resolved already in its February security patch. The said update is already rolling. In fact, some Google Pixel users have already enjoyed it.
A number of Reddit users who own Google Pixel and Pixel XL attested that after downloading and installing the update, they no longer encounter the audio issues. "I can now run Perfect Piano as well as the Mummy trailer on full volume without any static noise or issues. Can anyone else with the update confirm," one Reddit user wrote on this thread.
While some Google XL and Google Pixel user confirmed that the sound is a lot better and quieter a number of them still think that it can be improved. "I don't think it fully fixes it. The mummy trailer sounds fine at max volume, but the piano app gets a bit staticy sounding when wiping the keys, just not as bad as before," another user wrote.
