NBA News: Klay Thompson Better Than Stephen Curry For Charles Barkley

Stephen Curry is one of the best and most popular NBA players today. In fact, he could be the number one player on your list but for TNT analyst Charles Barkley, he is only in the seventh spot, with his Splash Brother Klay Thompson one step ahead of him.

In the current roster of Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry has the most number of achievements considering his age. Curry earned the back-to-back MVP title for 2015 and 2016. He is a four-time NBA All-Star and an NBA scoring champion and steals leader in 2016.

Unfortunately, his success is not enough for Charles Barkley, who only placed him on the seventh spot. In fact, his teammate and Splash Brother Klay Thompson is ahead of him in the sixth spot.

Fox Sports reported that Charles Barkley is never a fan of GSW's strategy. Thus, it is not surprising that Stephen Curry is not on his top three players. However, aside from the Curry missing the top spot, another thing that stirs the NBA fans is how Barkley rank Klay Thompson ahead of the Golden State Warriors' most valuable player.

Barkley on his end believes that Klay Thompson is a better all-around player than Stephen Curry. In fact, when Kenny Smith prompted him to explain his No. 6 and No. 7 spot, he gave his explanation. "I'm telling you, Steph Curry is a great player, but Klay Thompson is the best two-way guard in the entire NBA. We're not picking All-Stars," Barkley told Smith.

Although Barkley is convinced with his own opinion, many disagree. Per Awful Announcing, one can't argue who between Klay and Steph is better considering their advanced stats, traditional stats, and MVP results.

The publication notes that Barkley's NBA analysis consistently makes one scratch his head. The analyst has the tendency to say things without thinking. Barkley has an ongoing feud with Cleveland Cavalier's LeBron James and the rank he gives to GSW's Stephen Curry could only mean that he is not making friends with the NBA superstars lately.
