A major change is anticipated in "NCIS: Los Angeles" following Miguel Ferrer's death. Will his character Owen Granger survive and be passed on another actor or will the writer kill him?
Miguel Ferrer's Owen Granger started as a recurring role in "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 3. However, he became a main character in season 5. With his untimely passing, fans are wondering what will happen to his character in the popular CBS series.
Gosh TV reported that Miguel Ferrer lives on in the recent episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 3 episode titled "Playback." Fans are currently bracing themselves for Owen Granger's final scenes in the series.
However, per the report, Owen's condition is stable after being stabbed by a CIA operative. In fact, in the last "NCIS: LA" episode, he still has the strength to shoot the person who enters his room to kill him. It is unlikely for the production to give the character to another actor. Thus, more likely, the production will write him off the series.
With Owen Granger's impending departure, Hetty (Linda Hunt) will be left with no one on her side. She desperately needs an ally and reports have it that A.J. Chegwidden will be there for her.
John M. Jackson's Admiral A.J. Chegwidden is a popular character in the "NCIS" franchise. He's been absent in the series for a number of years and only made an appearance in the "Playback" episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8.
Per TV Overmind, A.J. Chegwidden is not integral in getting Kensi back. Granger's kill shot gave the team an upper hand in tracking Kensi. However, Chegwidden might be sticking around in "NCIS: Los Angeles" as a temporary replacement with Granger's impending departure.
Are you happy with Chegwidden's return? What will happen to Miguel Ferrer's character in "NCIS: Los Angeles?" Should the production give the role to another actor or kill him off instead? What do you prefer? Drop a comment below.
