‘Better Call Saul’ Season 3 Cast: Bryan Cranston May Appear As Walter White?

"Better Call Saul" Season 3 may have a super exciting cameo lined up for its viewers! Bryan Cranston teased that he might briefly reprise his highly popular role of Walter White, from his "Breaking Bad" days, on the upcoming season of the show!

It has been almost 4 years since the high successful TV drama "Breaking Bad" wrapped up. But people have not forgotten Bryan Cranston's Walter White, the high school chemistry professor, suffering from a mid-life crisis and a boring domestic life, who eventually turns into drug dealer. 

"Breaking Bad" showrunner Vince Gilligan have been pelted with requests to do a sequel of the show. However, there have been no efforts made so far to revive the cult drama.

Hence, people have to be satisfied with watching a spin-off cum prequel to that show, "Better Call Saul", which is steadily making a place of its own. It recollects the story of Saul Goodman, Albuquerque's most notorious criminal lawyer, before he meets Walter White, which changes his life forever.

Since the plot is set before Goodman and White cross paths, there is way of featuring Bryan Cranston as a cast member. However, that did not stop Cranston from fantasizing about a scenario where he could do a short cameo in "Better Call Saul" Season 3.

"I know that [creator] Vince [Gilligan] wouldn't do anything that would damage the overall brand that he's worked so hard to develop on a stunt cast kind of thing," Cranston told Nerdist. "And then I think, well what if it isn't?"

He further added that even a brush-by with the character of Goodman, without compromising the integrity of the show was could be exciting enough, Express reports. In "Breaking Bad", the characters of White and Goodman do not recognize each other when they meet for the first time, giving off the impression that they had never met. But according to Cranston, if it was an accidental meeting at a marketplace of two complete strangers they would not necessary recognize each other, 4 years down the line.

However, Cranston also admitted that all of it was just wishful thinking since he had not been approached by the creators to do a cameo.
