J. Cole is a master of buzz. As the June 25 release of his sophomore album Born Sinner edges nearer, he's coming up with more and more ways to get people excited. First, he dropped the track "Cole Summer." Then, he dropped a full EP of free music with Truly Yours 2. Now he's got a conceptual web series that documents all of the major influences on Cole's life and by extension, his second album. The Born Sinner web series consists of audio interviews with influential figures for Cole while a black and white slideshow of images plays. This week's subject is Cole's mother, Kay Cole, and the clip focuses on her being able to retire.

Kay talks about landing a job at the post office and working there until her son's rap career allowed her to relax. The shots show Cole outside the post office, standing at her locker, delivering mail and standing with her son.

"You know what, honey? I've got five deliveries left, forever," Cole says she told her son on the phone before being overcome with excitement and yelling ""I don't have to deliver mail anymore! It just hit me."

The clip ends with a quote from Cole's song "Cole Summer"  off of Truly Yours 2 that goes ""CONFESSIONS OF A CHEAP ASS NIGGA, BUT I FINALLY PUT MY MOMMA IN THAT E-CLASS NIGGA, AND I TOLD HER QUIT HER JOB, BUT HOLD YOUR HORSES, IF MY NEXT ALBUM FLOP IT'S BACK TO THE POST OFFICE... BOTH OF US."

Next week's installment will focus on J. Cole collaborator Kendrick Lamar.
