Recently, J. Cole moved the release date of his new album Born Sinner up to June 18, putting it in direct competition with the highly anticipated Kanye West album Yeezus. J. Cole is a master of buzz. As the June 25 release of his sophomore album Born Sinner edges nearer, he's coming up with more and more ways to get people excited. First, he dropped the track "Cole Summer." Then, he dropped a full EP of free music with Truly Yours 2. Now he's got a conceptual web series that documents all of the major influences on Cole's life and by extension, his second album. The Born Sinner web series consists of audio interviews with influential figures for Cole while a black and white slideshow of images plays.
