[Watch] Remy Ma Addresses Nicki Minaj Feud, Prison Time & Pregnancy Complications

Remy Ma might not have had the ideal life, but she has had the opportunity to learn some important life lessons that she reflected upon in a recent interview. She opened up about her feud with Nicki Minaj, time spent in prison and complications that she has had to face during her pregnancy.

Life is not easy for women in the 21^st century and this is something that Remy Ma discovered the hard way. Even though she does not regret whatever happened with Nicki Minaj, she does think that it could have been handled in a different, far less controversial way.

"It just bothers me that me picking apart another female is what went viral. We could've done this working together," she told Buzz Feed. But Ma is not holding her breath for an apology from Minaj. She has put the entire incident behind her and just does not care anymore about what the "Anaconda" singer says or does.

Ma also criticized the way women are treated in prison. Having first-hand experience of being an inmate, after being sentenced to 8 years in prison for shooting her friend, following a financial dispute, Ma concluded that women are judged a lot worse than men inside a prison.

She said that she spent time with women who were never visited by anyone, while men, serving for similar crimes, had the luxury of having visits from multiple girlfriends and loved ones. According to Ma, it might be due to the fact that people have the common notion that women are immune from making mistakes and committing crimes because they are labeled as "nurturer."

Also, because women have a god-given monthly condition, life in prison gets that much harder when that time of the month arrives, Billboard reported. She also criticized the entire process in prison, "where you can get a curling iron and lipstick...but you can't get sanitary napkins or tampons." revealed Remy Ma.

Remy Ma would not have any idea about the depth of problems that a woman goes through at present times if she did not face complications during her pregnancy. She pointing out the gaping inadequacies of American health insurance, designed by pro-life politicians running the country, which provides for women who wants to keep their baby but fail to help out women who want to conceive one.
