Jennifer Garner Divorce Threats Reportedly Escalated Ben Affleck’s Drinking Problem

If it's not the "Nannygate", it's the bottle. It seems like Jennifer Garner has just about had it with trying to reconcile with her husband, Ben Affleck. What remains to be seen is when she decides to file for a divorce, which would finally allow her to be free to start her life afresh.

Trouble in paradise has been going on for a couple of years now for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner and, unfortunately, it does not seem to be getting any better. Even though Garner has not filed for an official divorce against her husband yet, it does not seem like reconciliation is on the cards anytime soon.

It all started when the "Batman Vs Superman" actor was caught cheating on his wife with their nanny in 2015. However, things weren't as bad as they have gotten recently, with the actor's drinking problem affecting both his health and his family.

Affleck has already barred from sleeping in the main bedroom as the "Elektra" actress makes up her mind if she wants to separate for good from him. According to the reports, Garner had demanded Affleck to pull his life together if he wants to reconcile with her. But every time she comes close to forgiving him, he falls off the wagon once again.

Garner was also seen out and about dating a mystery man which would suggest that Affleck was already out of the picture, reports Closer Weekly. "Jen's finally ready to file for divorce because she thinks this new romance could lead to a very serious relationship," mentioned an insider.

However, Garner's reluctance in filing for a divorce might be also due to the fact that they have three beautiful kids together - Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 4, reports AOL. And the moment she files for a divorce, she would be subjecting them to a broken home and endless custody battles.
