‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Season 2 Spoilers: Felicity From ‘Arrow’ Becomes A Superhero

Felicity Smoak is getting her own superhero costume in an upcoming episode of "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased the character's appearance through a series of photos he shared online.

Guggenheim gave fans a look at Felicity's superhero costume in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 on his Twitter. The creator shared a concept art that show's Oliver Queen's sidekick dressed in a hooded purple cape and eye mask. According to CBR, Andy Poon and Maya Mani designed Felicity's overall look. They previously worked on the costume for other superheroes including Vixen, the Atom, Hawkgirl, Firestorm and White Canary (see video below to see Felicity's superhero attire).

The showrunner shared the concept art for Felicity's overall superhero look after he talked about a character cameo in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2. "I will call it a surprise crossover. No one knows this because we've kept it under wraps, but there's a surprise cameo, surprise crossover moment in the penultimate episode of Legends," Guggenheim told Deadline.

The penultimate episode of "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 is titled "Doomworld." According to the synopsis, this episode follows the events after the Legion of Doom retrieved the Spear of Destiny from the Legends in Episode 15. The Legion of Doom completely rewrites reality using the spear, leaving the Legends changed. This could also be the reason why Felicity has turned into a masked superhero instead of being Oliver's tech geek.

The Legends and the world's hope now rests on Rory, who was last seen handing the Spear of Destiny to the Legion of Doom in Episode 15. Whether he becomes a hero in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 and right history remains unknown.

Aside from Felicity's crossover as a superhero in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2, another "Arrow" character also makes a cameo. Guggenheim said that Black Canary appears in the final episode.
