"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is a first person shooter game which released in November 2016 and received a warm reception and good ratings. A new map pack called "Variety" has been released for the game but is only available for PlayStation 4 as of now.
The new map pack for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is released with a suggested retail price of $14.99. The Xbox One and PC version of the map pack will be available soon. Activision has said that the gamers who pre-order the map pack will have access to 10 Rare Supply Drops. The new map pack also brings back the Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek and Killhouse maps which are multiplayer maps. A new trailer showcasing these maps has also been released, reported Forbes.
The new "Variety" map pack includes the four maps which are remastered in full HD resolution. The Broadcast map is based on the TV Station from Charlie Don't Surf mission, Chinatown map is a reimagined version of Carentan which was released in Call of Duty. The other two maps for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" are- Creek which is based on war-torn village and Killhouse which is a close-quarter map set in a warehouse.
Chinatown from the "Variety" map pack is set in a foggy district which is lit up by flickering signs and full moon. This map for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is based on Carentan, an original "Call Of Duty" map and hides enemies in almost every building. Killhouse is a small map in a warehouse and filled with various building mock-ups that have a soft and hard cover up points, reported Express.
Broadcast map in the new map pack update for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" has a number of corridors and open spaces. These provide ample of close-combat situations. Creek is a unique map that is set in a village and the map is divided into two by a gaping ravine. The forest cover makes this map an ideal for sniper battles and long-range fights.
