Abby Lee Miller has departed from "Dance Moms" after seven seasons. Cheryl Burke has been chosen to replace her. The good news is, Burke appears to be a favorite among producers of the hit dance series.
A source close to production has revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Burke is doing well as the new dance coach. In fact, the "Dance Moms" producers are already fond of her. This is her first time taking over the team but her skills are also gaining respect from the production team.
The insider revealed that "the producers and the network are very pleased with her leadership." It appears that Cheryl Burke is starting to make her own name, out of Abby Lee Miller's shadow. It can be safe to assume that the "Dancing With the Stars" winner will slay her rule in her first season on "Dance Moms."
The source went on to explain that the kids and the "Dance Moms" are being uplifted by Burke. Positive comments on Burke's leadership are pouring out online. As early as now, the 32-year-old model is building her own empire.
However, fans are debating about the potential return of Abby Lee Miller on "Dance Moms." Another source has disclosed that Miller is still "always welcome" to make a comeback in the series. The former dance coach has yet to officially confirm if she will appear on the show again.
Late last month, Miller revealed on social media that she is leaving "Dance Moms." In her Instagram post, Miller claimed that the show's producers have "manipulated" and "disrespected" her. She also said she was "used day in and day out." Lifetime has not yet commented on Miller's claims.
According to E! News, a source has divulged earlier this year that Abby Lee Miller was someone who was "always difficult" to deal with. She has also been charged with multiple counts of fraud and could potentially be jailed. With Cheryl Burke leading the "Dance Moms" team, fans could see great changes in the dance series.
