ABC has yet to announce the release date for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14, yet reports claim it likely airs in September. Likewise, speculations are rife that the installment explores the cliffhangers in the Season 13 Finale, especially those centered on the characters' relationships.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 still gets the usual evening airtime every Thursday on ABC. The question though is when the premiere comes out. According to Bustle, the release date could be any day in September, since the installment is under the Fall 2017 TV lineup with ABC. It probably airs late in September or first week of October and runs until May 2018.
Ahead of the show's return, fans are eager to know what happens to the characters following that surprising Season 13 Finale. The finale left so many unanswered questions that could open the story for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14. The cliffhangers mostly focused on the relationship between the characters, including that of Owen and Amelia, Meredith and Nathan and Jo and Alex.
It seems there is no hope for Meredith and Nathan in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14. Megan's return clearly presents a problem in their relationship. Nathan might choose her over Meredith. Meredith may have no choice but to let Nathan go so he can reunite with his former love.
Meanwhile, there may still be hope for Owen and Amelia to get back together in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14, according to Pop Sugar. The Season 13 finale teased that they still have feelings for each other. An emotional Owen held on to her hand when he saw Megan (see video). They also embraced and cried together in the elevator. The pair let out their feelings, which could be a good sign towards reconciliation.
As for Jo and Alex, there is no progress yet in their relationship. Alex has yet to master his courage to speak up to Jo's husband. This could happen in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 when Alex finally confronts him about his feelings for Jo.
