Ahead of the release of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14, fans have been debating whether Meredith and Nathan will get back together. It is supposedly likely that this time around Meredith does not involve herself in a love triangle.
There is no update yet on the release date for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14. According to Bustle, it could arrive sometime late in September. If not then it could air on the first week of October. The new season is listed under ABC's Fall 2017 TV lineup.
Ahead of the show's return, fans continue to wonder what happens now to Meredith and Nathan in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 after that surprising cliffhanger in the Season 13 Finale. Now that his former love Megan, whom he thought was dead, is actually alive, can Nathan still pursue a relationship with Meredith. TV Line released a survey for fans to share their thoughts and the opinions vary.
One fan suggested that it is unlikely that showrunner Shonda Rhimes would repeat the Meredith-Derek-Addison triangle in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14. It is supposedly likely that Meredith and Nathan go their separate ways. This time she chooses not to involve herself in a love triangle. Instead, she encourages Nathan to stay by Megan's side until she recovers and afterward, possibly rekindle their romance.
However, one fan suggested otherwise and said it is better to bring Meredith and Nathan back together in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14. After all, their relationship was built for over two seasons and disregarding it would be a waste of time and effort.
Regardless, it remains unknown what happens in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14. Since the story revolves around Meredith, then it is still likely that her love life (and Ethan) plays a major role. Whether she and Nathan still stay together despite Megan's return is unknown. Perhaps Nathan decides to care for Megan only but continues his relationship with Meredith.
