Some unruly New Kids on the Block Fans reportedly attacked Aaron Carter last night in Boston. The reasoning behind this alleged attack was either because Carter is another pop star performing on the "turf" of NKOTB, or because he is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter and that Boston prefers its hometown boy band. Clearly either reason is strange enough, but Carter did in fact get assaulted and has the Instagram pictures to prove it.

The 25-year-old "That's How I Beat Shaq" singer explained to TMZ that he was leaving a local diner with a friend when a "huge guy" approached the performer and said, "I heard you're doing a show here tomorrow. This is the town of the New Kids."

According to Aaron, three other guys then jumped out of a gold Chevy Malibu and began to assault the younger brother of the Backstreet Boy. This attack resulted in a black eye and a possibly broken hand. Aaron posted the above picture to Instagram after the fact and mentioned NKOTB member Jordan Knight in his caption, as well.

The two following photos were later posted on his Instagram account and as you can see his eye has gotten better and he is sporting a cast of sorts.

"I think my knuckles might be broken, but that's what they get," Aaron said. "People think I'm a pretty little white boy but no way. I think I won. I'm still standing."

Carter is not planning on filing a police report because he feels that that would be "girlie." Tonight's performance will also go on as scheduled despite the attack.
