Though she used to take herself less seriously, Duchess Kate Middleton's younger sister Pippa Middleton may be threatening to sue a parody Twitter account and author, @PippaTips.
According to the UK Sunday Times, Middleton has begun legal action against Mat Morrisroe and Suzanne Azzopardi, the duo behind parody Twitter account @PippaTips and the lampooning book When One Is Expecting: A Posh Person's Guide to Pregnancy and Parenting.
The Twitter account and book -- which has surpassed sales of Middleton's party book Celebrate -- mock the socialite's basic lifestyle tips, which include decorating with fake plastic spiders for Halloween and that one should toast a marshmallow using a long-handled fork over a fire.
Though Middleton shrugged off the criticism earlier, it seems as though she may have changed her tune.
Pippa Middleton Tips, which has over 53,000 followers on Twitter, has not tweeted since June 14. The account describes itself as "Tips for living. An invoice for the best part of half a million is the post. Clearly a parody."

Middleton's lawsuit likely won't hold water, however. Twitter allows for parody, commentary and fan accounts. According to the social media site's support section, so long as the username is distinct, the profile name is not the exact same as the parodied party, the biography states it's a parody account and communication with other users does not imply it's the person.
Role-playing accounts are also allowed on Twitter. The site says "if an account is engaged in parody and follows all of the above recommendations, it will generally be free to continue in its parody so long as it doesn't mislead or deceive others."
So, Middleton may not enjoy @PippaTips, but it seems she may just have to deal with the criticism and soft jabs.
