Lady Gaga 'Artpop' [UPDATE]: Twitter Q&A Reveals New Single, Tracklist, Album Cover on Way in Coming Weeks [PHOTO]

Less than two months remain until the release of Lady Gaga's highly anticipated third studio album "Artpop." Other than lead single "Applause" and a handful of other songs like "Maincure" and "Swine," little is known about the follow-up to "Born This Way." Today, the Mother Monster took to her Twitter account and gave an impromptu fan Q&A session. Using the hashtag #ARTPOPquestion, fans asked Gaga a variety of questions about "Artpop" and "Applause."

Here are five things we learned from the Lady Gaga Twitter Q&A today (Sept. 20).

5. The odd goose-head moment in the "Applause" music video is symbolic.

The official visual for "Applause" has a number of puzzling moments, but one of the most out there scenes is Lady Gaga's head superimposed on a goose's body. Though seemingly random and bizarre, Mother Monster said that there's actually old nursery tale symbolism involved. "We wanted to tell a quick tale of the 'ugly duckling' emerging into the spotlight!" she explained.

4. Her next single is a surprise!

Mum was the word in regards to the follow up to "Applause." When asked what her choices even were for the next single, Gaga was not naming names. "I want to choose something that's totally ME! for me its about choosing the best song," Gaga wrote when asked about her choice for the next "Artpop" single.

3. The follow-up to "Applause" will be released ahead of "Artpop..." but not any time too soon.

"@ladygaga #ARTPOPquestion 2nd single before or after album release?" asked @ARTPOPMINAJ, and Gaga had a good answer for her Little Monsters. The yet-to-be-determined second single will drop before Nov. 11! "before, but not too soon @ARTPOPMINAJ Applause is still holding court for *glampop* spreading glitter with every spin!" No release date has been given, but fans can likely keep their ears to the ground for some time in October.

2. The tracklist will drop before the end of the month.

Plain and simple. "I'll release the tracklisting on the sept 29th," Gaga wrote.

1. The "Artpop" album color is colorful, in the final stages and due out in the next two weeks!

The album cover for "Artpop" is set to be release sometime in the next two weeks, according to Gaga, and the offering is one she's excited for. "I will say its my FAVORITE of all my album covers, and I am so excited to show you," she teased. Little is known about the look of "Artpop," but Gaga did tease that it was bright.

Lady Gaga's third studio album "Artpop" is due out Nov. 11.
