It was one day late, but after unveiling the Artpop tracklist yesterday (Oct. 8), "Applause" singer Lady Gaga also released the lyric video for "Aura," the possible second single from her upcoming third studio album.
Tied into the upcoming Robert Rodrigue film "Machete Kills," in which Gaga makes her feature film debut, the lyric video features footage of the movie, audio and all, interspersed with the song itself and its lyrics.
The inclusion of the movie's dialogue and sound effects makes it hard to hear the completed Artpop version of "Aura," a true fault of the lyric video. Gaga did tweet that the song was re-mastered and remixed from both leaked versions: the rough demo that hit the web in August and the CD quality version that began streaming earlier this week.
Some small differences in the vocal effects can be heard between the lyric video version and the leaked version. For instance, the muffled vocal effects have been toned down in the first verse and in the Spanish-guitar led introduction. It also seems as though Gaga's powerful vocals in the song's chorus have been turned down slightly.

"Aura" is a track from Lady Gaga's upcoming album Artpop, due out Nov. 11. The song was recently revealed to be the first track on the record, according to the tracklist released last night.
