Justin Bieber may be one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, but that doesn't mean the "Recovery" singer doesn't remember to give back. Bieber recently went on a trip to Guatemala to help build a school with the non-profit charity Pencils of Promise, and then he took to YouTube to post a confessional vlog about his experience.
"So, today was probably one of the most magical days of my life," he began. "I got to visit a place I didn't really even know existed, so many beautiful children who are very, very less fortunate. And I'm not talking about poor; I'm talking about 10 people living in a little shack, and it was just a wake-up call for me. Any little problem I have, it's nothing at all."
Bieber then went on to say that he felt selfish for worrying about his problems when children who have nothing are so happy, but that he was able to help people through his fortunate status in life.
"Thank you to all my Beliebers who helped make this all possible so I could help people with my own two hands," Bieber continued when talking about the experience of building a school with his own hard work. "I'm so happy I get to do what I do. I know my music is inspiring, but that's not it. I can make a change in so many ways. I even think it's corny sometimes... but it's not."
The emotion from Bieber is very apparent in the emotional clip as he ponders over some of life's big questions and scenarios.
