'Lego House' singer Ed Sheeran wrote brand new song 'I See Fire' for 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' soundtrack, playing all instruments for the track

Having a big name in music attached to an equally big movie soundtrack is always a great idea for both parties. So when 2013 breakout singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran this week announced that his newest song, "I See Fire," would appear exclusively on the soundtrack of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, a perfect match was made. Sheeran announced the news on his Twitter account, complete with iTunes download information.
