Yesterday (Dec. 2), former Jonas Brother Joe Jonas shocked the Internet when Vulture published his essay "My Life as a Jonas Brother." In the revelatory piece, Jonas revealed what it was like to live life inside the Disney machine, but he also dished on his relationships, sex, alcohol, drugs and drama.
Among his revelations, Jonas dished on the troubled days of his ex-girlfriend and Camp Rock co-star Demi Lovato. In the essay, he revealed that she and Miley Cyrus were the ones who first introduced him to smoking marijuana and that she eventually was asked to go to rehab in 2010 after punching another girl in the face while on a plane, causing the young woman to bleed.
Jonas also revealed that he and Lovato dated "for about a month," and he stuck with her because he wanted to help her through her addiction.
Though the details of Lovato's troubled days were shocking and enough to make the "Neon Lights" singer regret the day she ever met Jonas, she instead is taking the high road in responding to his essay. After the Vulture essay was published, Lovato took to her Twitter to post a simple, loving message to Jonas. "@joejonas love you brother #family/friendsforever," she wrote to him on the social media site, showing that time really does make everything OK.
Although Demi Lovato and Jonas seem to be on good terms, Demi's sister Dallas Lovato is not so pleased with the "First Time" singer. She posted the following Twitter message to her 472,000 followers: "Pathetic how people cut others down to get attention off themselves.. Loser."
Ouch!
