Earlier this week, we reported that Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons is the latest actor rumored to be auditioning for a role in the upcoming J.J. Abrams film, Star Wars Episode VII. New reports have added a few other big names to that list including Michael Fassbender and Hugo Weaving. Girls star Adam Driver is also another new name rumored for a role. Now sources are claiming that these new names are the latest batch of actors called in for auditions after an earlier script for the film (written by Michael Arndt) was thrown out and a new scripts (written by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan) was drafted. Apparently these two scripts were very different and the plotline for the film has officially changed. We've provided some of the information on the new script and characters below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, before Arndt left this project, his script focused on new characters and new storylines. Now reports claim Abrams' script focuses on classic characters Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker, thus giving them somewhat of a conclusive story leading into the next films, Episodes VIII and IX.
Still with us? Well remember all of the actors rumored for auditions in the fall of 2013? Those names included Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor,Michael B. Jordan, Jack O'Connell, Alex Pettyfer, Saoirse Ronan and Sullivan Stapleton (to name a few). Those names were for the first script, so we can basically just forget about them considering the script changed. In a way, that makes the rumors a bit more easy to get through.
The Hollywood Reporter says Abrams is now looking for "a 20-something female actress who is either of mixed race or black. The rumor is that Obi-Wan Kenobi had a daughter or granddaughter." This sounds like earlier claims, so we should watch this rumor for a bit before making any speculations.
