The second season of Banshee has really been upping the ante with drama and suspense. We're only four episodes in and there are so many directions for the rest of the season to go. We last left off with the murder of an Indian girl and an Amish boy going missing afterwards. Hood questioned the Indians, met Chayton, and was attacked by a mysteries assailant in the woods. So what does episodes four, "Bloodlines," have in store for us? (SPOILERS to follow)

Incase you were wondering, Carrie is still in prison and it's really wearing her down. She's dreaming of a life outside of jail, but what is she going home to? Does she even have a home?
Though there's plenty of build up to the main plot of the episode including Lana Cleary's funeral, Chayton's threatening of the deputies and Nola lecturing her brother, the underlying story is that we still don't know who killed the Indian girl.
Alex Longshadow confronts Proctor once again, ending in the first action of the episode. Where did Alex get a shuriken by the way?
Hood and deputy Lotus track down runaway Amish boy Daniel Moses to ask about the missing Solomon. We learn that Danny is pretty much homeless and doesn't know about Solomon, though Hood finds out a bit more about why this kid left his family. Apparently a teacher attacked him for reading books. Crazy. This scene is also juxtaposed to Rebecca's conversation with her Amish friend about the attack from the previous episode. Both conversations lead to the teacher, Jonah.
This teacher is yet another imposing character for Hood to deal with. We soon learn that he has something to hide when he attacks Hood. Luckily Rebecca shows up and helps Hood get the upper hand. Eventually, Proctor shows up and tortures Jonah to get him to reveal where Solomon is hidden. It turns out Jonah totally killed Lana Cleary. Unfortuantely Nola eventually gets to Jonah and murders him while he's in lock up at the sheriff's station.
As the episode wraps up Chayten escapes the deputies, Lucas talks with his daughter, and Rabbitt visits Carrie! Plus everything with Jason Hood and Job is amazing. It's a little unfortunate how this is just a side story, though.
