The birthday gifts just keep on coming.
Katy Perry just released a sneak peak of her upcoming music video for new single "Birthday" and it looks like one of the most hilarious Katy Perry videos yet.
While most of her videos are very tongue and cheek, this one looks like it's going to be full out comedy gold.
The video which will be released on April 24, features Katy going undercover as five different birthday entertainers, including Goldie-the Dancer, Yosef Shulem-the MC, Kriss- the clown, Ace- the animal trainer, and Mandee- the princess. Perry pokes fun at all the typical entertainers that parents hire for their kids birthday parties.
Perry joked on Jimmy Kimmel's show on Monday night that that she transform into the five worst birthday party entertainers because she was just "sick of making gorgeous videos," saying that they can get "boring." She wanted to turn that on its head, and she says that with "Birthday" she "made the most insane music video ever with hidden cameras."
Gorgeous music videos or funny music videos, we love Katy either way.
In the video, the singer goes to real birthday parties dressed up as the characters listed above and pretty much causes havoc. Watch the click below where she dresses up as Kriss the clown and tries to bring down a piñata at a child's birthday party, an event that Katy says almost caused her to get "shanked."
Also on Kimmel's show last night Perry was featured in a segment, called "Who Knows Katy?", a game show that tested a super fan's knowledge of all things Miss Perry.
During the game show, the "Dark Horse" singer even jokes about her relationship drama with John Mayer. When super fan Emily tells Kimmel that her boyfriend made her take down the shrine dedicated to Perry in their home Katy sarcastically says "At least you have a boyfriend," delivering the line with all sincerity before breaking into a giggle and a smile.
This is the first time Perry has publicly acknowledged that her and Mayer are split, which happened back in February.
