The excitement growing around the season 8 premiere of Doctor Who, an episode entitled "Deep Breath," is already boiling over within plenty of Whovians around the world, but we have some exciting news on how you can watch the premiere on August 23, 2014. According to Steven Moffatt and the BBC, Peter Capaldi's debut episode as the twelfth Doctor will be showing in movie theaters around the world!

"Last November the Doctor didn't just conquer the world on television, he did it in the cinemas too," the show's head writer said, in regards to the 50th anniversary special entitled "The Time of the Doctor."

"And like the show-off he is, he can't resist another go - one taste of the silver screen is never enough," he continued. "On August 23rd the new Doctor will begin his new adventures on BBC One and in cinemas all over the world. Movie-land beware - Capaldi is coming to get you!"

The official Doctor Who website has a dedicated page for movie theater (or cinema) information. We suggest you pay attention to this website because the participating theaters that will show "Deep Breath" on August 23 will be announced in the coming weeks.
