Evolve is easily one of the highest anticipated video games of 2015 and with the release date recently getting pushed to February, gamers are expecting a lot. Luckily for a select few, there's a chance to experience gameplay much earlier than 2015. 2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios have announced a closed Alpha test. Do you want to get into this Alpha way before the open Beta? We have some advice for you right here!
Entitled "Big Alpha," this closed experience will truly be hard to get an invitation, right? Let's take a look at the facts first.
"As stated on the Take-Two Interactive earnings call, 2K and Turtle Rock Studios are extending the development of Evolve by a few months to allow enough time to fully realize the vision for Evolve and meet our collective standards of creative excellence," a press release stated in regards to the delayed release date and the announcement of the Alpha. "We are encouraged by the press reaction and fan excitement coming out of a very successful E3, and we are now certain we are headed in the right direction with the game and we are confident in delivering a genre-defining product when Evolve launches on February 10, 2015."
Though we don't know when this new Alpha will take place, gaming sources are simply telling hopeful gamers to follow news about Evolve on Twitter, Facebook or the Turtle Rock forums for a "chance" to get an invitation to play. It looks like those who attended PAX last week have a bit of an advantage, but don't give up hope!
