It's a sad day for the NFL, Ray and Janay Rice, and the Baltimore Ravens. MStars News has learned that after the Ravens terminated Rice's contract, the now former running back was suspended indefinitely by the NFL, Roger Goodell soon after on Monday, according to CBSSports.
NFL PR spokesperson Greg Aiello confirmed the news, tweeting "Roger Goodell has announced that based on new video evidence that became available today he has indefinitely suspended Ray Rice."

Rice had been serving a two game suspension by the NFL following charges of domestic violence at a Atlantic City casino, back in February of this year. But now the new video released by TMZ has become Rice's new nightmare, leaving him jobless as of Monday.

The new video shows the moment where Rice punched his then fiancee, Palmer, who married the former NFL star, and the father of her daughter, a month later knocking her unconscious, dragging her out of an elevator.
