Jennifer Lopez In Contract To Buy $22 Million Manhattan Penthouse [PICTURES]

Jenny from the Block" is allegedly in the process of buying a $22.25 million Manhattan penthouse, even equipped with a putting green!

According to the (New York) Daily News, the entertainer is in negotiations to buy the 6,500-square-foot mega-apartment, which sits on the top floor of The Whitman, overlooking Madison Square Park.

And get this: Her neighbor would be none other than Chelsea Clinton, who purchased the second floor for $10 million last year. NASCAR's Jeff Gordon also lives in the building.

Her neighbors are not too shabby!

So what does this massive penthouse engulf? The interior span is 6,500 square feet, four bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half-baths. The outside is equipped with four terraces totaling more than 3,000 square feet. The building sits at 21 E. 26th St.

The home isn't without an Arclinea Chef's kitchen and a celling space of 12 feet.

Lopez's home is far above the average going rates for New York City apartments that sell for an average of $1.14 million.

Broker Melanie Laxenby of Douglas Elliman Real Estate is allegedly handling this massive purchase.

The "On the Floor" singer is no stranger to lavish properties, as she purchased a 3-acre property in the Hamptons for $10 million after scoping the place out with her twins and then-boyfriend Casper Smart.

The Hamptons property is in Water Mil, New York, which features the perfect city getaway, including a sparkling pool, pool house, theater, sauna and steam room and it's situated on a secluded cul-de-sac.

Lopez sold her Miami mansion in 2005 for an estimated $13.9 million to health care industry tycoon and venture capitalist Mark Gainor. Lopez reportedly made a $4.4 million profit from that sell.
