'Modern Family' Star Sarah Hyland Admits She Wants To Be Friends With Jennifer Lawrence

Sarah Hyland might have a lot of friends in Hollywood, but there is one star she would love to become friends with. The Modern Family actress admitted that she really wants to be friends with Jennifer Lawrence.

While attending an event in New York City on Tuesday Sarah revealed that she thinks J-Law would be good friends with her. "I also think it would be really great to work with Jennifer Lawrence at some point," Sarah told Cosmopolitan.com.

"I feel like we have very similar personalities ... I have a bunch of mutual friends in common with her, and we've tried to hook up before at award shows, but she always ends up going home and eating pizza, and I'm like, 'Damn it, I want to do that!' But I'm not Jennifer Lawrence — I have to stay."

The 23-year-old actress also revealed that her current celebrity crush is Amber Heard, noting that she had a lot of crushes growing up. "I was boy crazy: JTT, Leo, Johnny Depp," she said were all crushes she had in the past.

Even though Sarah has crushes on people she doesn't know personally, in her real life, she has an amazing support system that are really important to her. Since getting a restraining order against her ex boyfriend Matt Prokop in September, Sarah has been leaning on her TV family for strength.

"In every aspect of life they're the best for me. We're always there for each other. And it's wonderful. I love them," the Geek Charming star told People about her Modern Family costars.

When she isn't with her Modern Family costars or her friends, Sarah is spending time with her adorable dog Barkley Bixby. "It's like having a kid," the Vampire Academy star told Cosmopolitan. Barkley even has a girlfriend, Sarah revealed. "It's a stuffed animal. He's very loyal. I've tried to get him a new one, because it's absolutely disgusting, and he will not touch her."
