"Earlier this week while deer hunting, Jep suffered from a seizure." A rep from A & E confirmed to Us Weekly in a statement. "Thankfully, he was in the stand with friends, and Willie was at the hunting camp when it occurred so he was by his side in a matter of minutes."

The youngest of Phil Robertson's children also posted an article regarding his scary health scare, "Here's the story..." with a link to a TMZ article.
The article states that Jep was in the stand with friends when the seizure occurred. Willie (Phil's third son) quickly ran to his brother's side, in which Jep was then rushed to a nearby hospital.
"Jep was rushed to the hospital and received immediate treatment," the statement to Us continued. "He is doing well now, but is still in the hospital for additional tests and observation, and he is being treated with antibiotics to cover a range of possible infections believed to have caused the seizure," the statement continues. "Our family would like to thank everyone for their love and support and ask that you keep Jep, Jessica and their children in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time."
