'True Detective' Season 2 Casting News & Rumors, Premiere Date [SPOILERS]: Supporting Cast Includes Michael Irby, Kelly Reilly, Abigail Spencer, and Leven Rambin

We already know about the casting of True Detective's season 2 leading cast, but this week we learned about the supporting players that will back them up. Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn and Taylor Kitsch (and possibly Rachel McAdams), will have an impressive supporting cast in 2015 on HBO with such stars as Michael Irby, Kelly Reilly, Abigail Spencer, and Leven Rambin signing on for the series.

While McAdams is allegedly still in talks for the main female role on the show, Deadline reported on the supporting cast announcement this week.

While not many details are known about the supporting cast, we can report that Irby will play the partner of McAdam's character - if she joins the series (via Slash Film)
