Zac Efron changed up his look the day before Halloween, stepping out of a Hollywood salon with a fresh new goatee!
The 27-year-old former Disney star is roughing it for no apparent reason we can think of, besides the fact that he does look pretty good with a scruff in the facial region.
It's a fact: @ZacEfron is just as hot with facial as he is without it. Here's proof: https://t.co/8UQVRCOJ34

The Neighbors actor skateboarded home from the Jeffrey-Kara Salon in West Hollywood as photographers caught a glimpse of his perfectly shaped mustache, soul patch and jagged side burns.
We may have a few inklings as to why Efron may be changing his look. For one, girlfriend Sami Miro has just signed with DT Model Management in Los Angels! The agency updated their Instagram feed with a photo of the beauty and a caption that read, "Now Representing Sami Miro @sammiro @dtmanagement Welcome!!!!! #dtmodelmgmt #dtmodelmanagement #dtgirl"
Many fans are happy that Efron is now making headlines regarding facial hair changes rather then his past struggles with alcoholism and substance abuse. The once teen actor sought treatment in early 2013 after his struggles.
"No matter who you are, you face challenges growing up," Efron said in an April interview with THR. "I was drinking a lot, way too much. It's never one specific thing. I mean, you're in your 20s, single, going through life in Hollywood, you know? Everything is thrown at you. I wouldn't take anything back; I need to learn everything I did. But it was an interesting journey, to say the least."
So far the goatee-sporting actor has been spending quality time not drinking and enjoying time in Chicago for the wedding of chef Dave Beran and fiancé Jamie Schneiter. Let us know in the comments below what you think of Efron's new look!
