Natalie Dormer Stars In 'Cosmopolitan,' Talks Shaved Hair, 'Hunger Games' And The Meaning Of Good Style

Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer gets her close-up in the December 2014 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. The blonde beauty, who rocks a side shaved head for her role in the upcoming film The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 1, wears futuristic looks in a shoot photographed by Skye Parrott.

On her new hairstyle, she says, "Shaving half my head was a strong look that meant I could go punkier with my style."

She also talks about the meaning of good style: "Good style — regardless of fads — means the thing that suits your body."

The 32-year-old is quite captivating when she's on screen as Margaery Tyrell on Game of Thrones. We can't wait to see this English actress kick butt as Cressida in the Hunger Games sequel. Dormer was recently interviewed on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she discussed running in the London marathon and her new role in Hunger Games.

"Congratulations, you just ran the London marathon. First marathon? How was the experience?" Meyers asked.

"First marathon. Absolutely incredible. I enjoyed it so much. I may have gotten the bug. I'm thinking about the next one," Dormer replied.

"Now you're going from one super-fan franchise to another, which is Hunger Games, and how was that? That's why your head is shaved," said Meyers.

"Ladies, this [hairstyle] is making a comeback. Go to your hairdressers now," Dormer joked.

"Did you run your marathon like that?" Meyers asked.

"It was so much easier for the training, because you're really sweaty, it's so much easier to wash your hair in half the time," Dormer said. "It's good because with Hunger Games, there's so much running around, it's such physical shoots. I'm carrying a gun in big, heavy army boots, it's about as far away from Margaery as you can get, which is great. No corsets."
