Austrian developer, Stillalive Studios, has announced a major new update for their fantasy/action adventure videogame, Son of Nor. Available for PC, Mac and Linux, Son of Nor is getting more close combat improvements, more side-quests, three bonus new levels, and better EPOC Emotiv support.
According to its official website. the game is set in Noshrac, a world inhabited by a small group of human survivors at the brink of ultimate extinction. These survivors have been left behind by the ancient Gods, set to fight for themselves against hostile lizard-like creatures. The long forgotten powers of fire, wind, and essence are needed to build offensive and defensive spells against their enemies.
Players start out with the abilities granted by the goddess Nor. With their telekinesis and terraforming, the last resort of survivors must fight through enemy territory and solve tricky puzzles in their journey. The game world can fit up to four multiplayers, two-players, or just a regular single-player mode.
In the update, gamers get three new levels to play in their side-quests. In one of the levels, gamers will encounter a city frozen in time, haunted by ghosts. You will also have to prevent a human hometown from a big invasion.
If you check out the footage, a huge boss battle has been added. Is that a fire-breathing dragon at the end of the level? Who doesn't want to slay the dragon in a videogame?
