[WATCH] Johnny Depp Slurs Words and Stumbles During Speech at the 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

The sophisticated, well-spoken Johnny Depp that we all know took to the stage at the 2014 Hollywood Film Awards on Friday (Nov. 14) acting a little different then his usual self, by slurring his words, cursing and wobbling around.

"That's the weirdest microphone I've ever seen in my life," the Pirates of the Caribbean star said as he stumbles to the mic. "I'm not very good at this kind of thing," he stumbles with laughter. The rest of the interview is nearly untranscribable as he fumbles helplessly with is words.

Depp was introducing talent manager and friend Shep Gordon and presenting Mike Myers with the Hollywood Documentary Award for Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon, in which Depp actually called him a mensch!

The cameraman cut many times to the audience members-which included loads of smiles and laughter — Depp obviously being someone they admire and love, therefore his slurred speech was considered "very rock 'n' roll,' said Myers.

The Into the Woods actor quickly began to trend on twitter being accused of being drunk on stage. "It was very rock 'n' roll which was very very appropriate for Shep Gordon," The Hollywood Reporter reported of Myers appreciation of the speech.

Fans and viewers of the show have been posting to twitter some hilarious responses to Jack Sparrow's speech. "God bless award shows that serve tequila," wrote Mackenzie Kruvant.

E!'s The Soup's, Joel McHale wrote, "I love the direction they're going w/for the next Pirates of the Caribbean. Here's a sneak peak of Capt. J. Sparrow"
