'RHOBH' Lisa Rinna Talks Joining Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards & Brandi Glanville On 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Season 5

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are ready for their close ups. The Bravo series is one day away from its big season 5 premiere and fans are anxiously waiting to be reunited with Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards, Kim Richard, and Yolanda Foster, as well as meet the two newcomers Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson. Rinna, who has appeared on Melrose Place as well as reality series Dancing With the Stars, Celebrity Apprentice and Harry Loves Lisa is about to show viewers another side to her on RHOBH.

E! News caught up with the actress to get the scoop on all things housewife related.

The 51-year-old star has been approached multiple times by Bravo to appear on the series throughout the year, but it was just this last season that Rinna finally agreed to being part of it. The actress cites that the decision was all about timing.

"Like everything in life, it's all about timing. It's funny, when I went on Melrose Place it was year five. This is year five of Housewives. To be honesty with you, after talking about it with my husband, it's been a really great gig for me," Lisa revealed. "It felt right, to be honest with you and I like an adventure, I was looking for an adventure."

She also talks about how starring on Melrose Place prepared her for this role, saying, "This is very close to doing Melrose Place without a script in your hand."

And it seems like that drama is still continuing even after the season wrapped, as The Inquistr is reporting that fellow cast member Brandi Glanville was absent at the premiere party last night. However, it didn't seem like the ladies, including Kyle noticed, nor cared, as the housewife posted the following picture to Instagram of the girl with the caption, "The #RHOBH girls #season5," making no reference to Glanville's absence whatsoever.
